Lentil Rice Casserole
3 c. water
3/4 c. lentils
1/2 c. brown rice
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 t. basil
1/4 t. oregano
1/4 t. thyme
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 T. chicken stock (I use McKay's)
Mix all together in a casserole dish and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
This is good also with some shredded cheese just melted over at the end
of cooking.
