This is my son, Brady's, favorite recipe for granola bars. I love this recipe. I got it from my e-mail travels, so I can't quite remember where it came from. But I am so thankful for it. It's a versatile recipe. So if you would rather replace the chocolate chips with raisins and add some cinnamon, I think that would be good as well. We don't have these last long at our house. What is nice is that they are relatively healthy. Well, even more so if you don't add the chocolate chips. ~Smile!~ But my kids sure love them in there! I made them today and they're almost gone.

Chewy Granola Bars

1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. peanut butter (I use natural)
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. melted butter
2 t. vanilla

Mix in a big bowl. Then add:

3 c. oats
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. wheat germ
2 t. sesame seeds
1 c. chocolate chips

Stir in well. Then press into a greased Texas sheet pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350. Cut while still warm, then let cool before serving.
